Are you in a place of contentment, or are you striving to get there? Are you at peace today--in the present—or would you say you are trying to get somewhere different or get away from your past? We need to let go of the past, the future, the glory, and the failures. We need to give our lives to God to be at rest and in a place and contentment.

In every life, there will come hardships and hurts, trials and troubles. Jesus Himself said this would be so. Yet He also promised to be with us and respond to our faith. How do you hold on to faith, when God does not seem to hear, or the answer is long delayed? Let’s look at some verses that will help us.

We are all individuals. We come from different backgrounds, different triumphs, and different hurts. We have labels, or even self-perceptions, which we allow to define who we think we are. Are you ready to let God reveal His definition of your identity?

We often assume our friends and neighbors aren’t interested in God. On the contrary, everyone is searching for something to satisfy them at a deep, soul level. People are looking for Jesus, whether they know it yet or not. We know the only one who can meet their needs and it’s our job to share it and invite everyone.
