Today’s Scripture: “Let the high praises of God be in their throats, and two-edged swords in their hands.” Psalm 149:6, ESV 

Theme: Singing praises to God is like having a sword in our hands. Pick up your weapon; it is your worship! 

Today's Scripture: “And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say, “Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever.” 2 Chronicles 20:21, ESV 

Theme: Even when you don’t know the outcome, worship God before the battles. 

Today's Scripture: "And whenever the harmful spirit from God was upon Saul, David took the lyre and played it with his hand. So Saul was refreshed and was well, and the harmful spirit departed from him." 1 Samuel 16:23, ESV 

Theme: Worship and music can deliver us from darkness and bring us peace.

Theme: Replace grumbling with gratitude as you worship God in the desert times of your life. 

Today's Scripture: "And you shall remember the whole way that the Lord your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not." Deuteronomy 8:2, ESV 

Theme: It is the human condition to forget; intentionally remind yourself of who God is in worship.
