Daily Devotions

Today's Scripture: “Having said these things, he spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva. Then he anointed the man's eyes with the mud and said to him, ‘Go, wash in the pool of Siloam’ (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing.” John 9:6-7, ESV 

Theme: At Easter, we recognize Jesus as the One who shows us that God is Jehova Jirah (the God who provides) and Jehovah Rapha (The God who heals). 

Today's Scripture: “So, the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they captured the city.” Joshua 6:20 ESV  

Theme: Worship God when He brings victory in your life.  

Today's Scripture: “Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of the godly!” Psalm 149:1, ESV 

Theme: Sometimes we worship by singing familiar songs; at other times, we sing a new song to the Lord. 

Today’s Scripture: “Let the high praises of God be in their throats, and two-edged swords in their hands.” Psalm 149:6, ESV 

Theme: Singing praises to God is like having a sword in our hands. Pick up your weapon; it is your worship! 

Today's Scripture: “And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say, “Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever.” 2 Chronicles 20:21, ESV 

Theme: Even when you don’t know the outcome, worship God before the battles.
