Today’s Scripture: “They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.” I Timothy 6:18-19. ESV

Theme: Be rich in a way that lasts by serving, being generous, and doing good works for God’s kingdom.

Today’s Scripture: “In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” Acts 20:35, ESV

Theme: Giving is part of following Jesus; we are called to use our talents and financial gifts to bless others.

Today's Scripture: “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” Hebrews 13:5, ESV

Theme: God calls us to be content because we can trust Him with everything we need.

Theme: Take the first of the ten commandments seriously: have no other gods—not even money—equal to or before God.

Theme: Though it lures us promising freedom, love of money actually enslaves people.
