Theme: While the average person was drawn to Jesus, the temple leaders put their traditions ahead of Him. Beware of being “religious.”

Thursday - KNOWN BY OUR POWERFUL PRAYER

Today's Scripture: “And Jesus answered them, ‘Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, “Be taken up and thrown into the sea,” it will happen. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.’” Matthew 21:21-22, ESV 

Theme: If we are now the temple of God, we should be known by our faith and our bold prayers.

Wednesday - DON’T BE A PHARISEE!

Today's Scripture: “But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David!’ they were indignant...” Matthew 21:15, ESV 

Theme: We believers can be cynical and critical of any move of God, especially at church and especially as religious people.

Theme: As we enter the Lord’s house, are we focused on the spiritual or the material? It matters to Jesus.
