Today’s Scripture: “For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’” Romans 8:15, ESV 

Theme: God’s desire is to release us from all anxiety and fear as we learn to trust Him. 

Today's Scripture: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9, ESV 

Theme: Even when we face anxieties and fears, God promises to be with us. 

Today’s Scripture: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33, ESV 

Theme: Prioritize seeking God and His righteousness over trying to problem solve. 

Today's Scripture: “And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?” Matthew 6:27, ESV  

Theme: Anxiety doesn’t lengthen your life; it is more likely to shorten it! 

Today’s Scripture: ““Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?” Matthew 6:25, ESV 

Theme: God tells us not to worry because when we live in fear and anxiety, we become less likely to trust that God is in control.
