Today's Scripture: “The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” 2 Corinthians 9:6, ESV 

Theme: Generous giving is bountiful, not sparse. 

Today's Scripture: “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7, ESV 

Theme: Generosity is when we give willingly without reservation. 

Today's Scripture: “Now it is superfluous for me to write to you about the ministry for the saints, for I know your readiness, of which I boast about you to the people of Macedonia, saying that Achaia has been ready since last year. And your zeal has stirred up most of them.” 2 Corinthians 9:1-2, ESV  

Theme: Your generosity encourages other believers in their journeys towards greater faithfulness.  

Today’s Scripture: “Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit.” Philippians 4:17, ESV  

Theme: God isn’t after your tithe so much as the character produced by obedience. 

Today’s Scripture: “I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity.” Philippians 4:10, ESV 

Theme: Giving to God’s work being done through the church is an opportunity for us to take part in the mission together.
