Theme: Emotions are meant to be signals, not dictators. We are called to control them while also not completely ignoring or suppressing them.

Theme: Emotions help us to care deeply, but they don’t always help us to discern clearly. Opposite emotions can arise simultaneously: pain with joy, laughter amid grief.

Today's Scripture: “By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything.” 1 John 3:19-20 

Theme: When we feel condemned, look to God for affirmation, reassurance, or conviction. He will lead us to Truth.
