SEEING GOD AS A PERFECT FATHER 

Over the next few days, join your Cove Family as we examine some of the promises God made as a Father to those who have accepted His grace and love. Though people on earth inevitably fail us, we can count on our Perfect Father to bless His children to the fullest. 

Today’s Scripture: “The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” Proverbs 11:25, NLT 

Theme: The blessed life is found in becoming a generous person. 

Today's Scripture: "You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God." 2 Corinthians 9:11, ESV 

Theme: God-given resources are provided so that we can partner with Him in generously blessing others. 

Today's Scripture: “There will always be some in the land who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need.” Deuteronomy 15:11, NLT 

Theme: If we refuse to share generously, we can’t claim to take the Bible seriously. 

Today’s Scripture: “But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.” James 1:22, NLT 

Theme: Taking the Bible seriously means not only reading it regularly but also putting it into practice in the ways we act and think.
