Christmas At The Cove - Week 2

Message Recap

Zacchaeus wasn’t the man anyone expected Jesus to pursue. His reputation was damaged, his choices had hurt others, and the crowd believed he didn’t deserve kindness. Yet, Jesus called him by name, stepped into his home, and changed his life. Grace came where no one expected it — and that’s exactly how Jesus still works.

Ice breaker:

 • What’s the first thing you would scramble to hide or clean if Jesus came to your house today?

Questions to Ponder:

 • What does Zacchaeus’ story reveal about the way Jesus sees people?

 • Who might be waiting for grace through you this Christmas?

The Promise — A Reading on Hope

Scripture: Isaiah 9:2–7

Christmas Reflection

Christmas begins with a promise spoken long before the manger ever appeared. Israel waited in deep darkness, longing for clarity and deliverance. Into their stillness, God whispered hope — a Child would come, bringing light that no darkness could extinguish.

Zacchaeus’ story reflects the same tenderness: God steps into the overlooked places, the unexpected corners, the lives others count out. The promise of Jesus is the promise of hope arriving right on time.

Wherever your heart feels weary, unsure, or dim, remember: the Light has come. And He still comes today.

Questions for Reflection:

 • What promise of God do you need to rest in this week?

 • Where have you recently seen God bring light into your life?

 • Who might need encouragement from you in this season of hope?

 • Share a time when you received forgiveness or kindness that you didn’t expect.
