Friday - ETERNAL PURPOSE

Today’s Scripture: “And he called the twelve and began to send them out two by two, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits... So they went out and proclaimed that people should repent. And they cast out many demons and anointed with oil many who were sick and healed them,” (Mark 6:7, 12-13, ESV). 

Theme: We can follow Jesus’ example with the twelve disciples to learn how to invest in and train up others.

Theme: Be bold in your request for mentorship or spiritual growth.

Wednesday - LET THEM LIVE IT OUT

Today’s Scripture: “Then Elijah took his cloak and rolled it up and struck the water, and the water was parted to the one side and to the other, till the two of them could go over on dry ground.... Then he (Elisha) took the cloak of Elijah that had fallen from him and struck the water, saying, ‘Where is the Lord, the God of Elijah?’ And when he had struck the water, the water was parted to the one side and to the other, and Elisha went over,” (2 Kings 2:8,14, ESV). 

Theme: Set an example for the next generation and give them a chance to live it out.

Tuesday - LIFE ALL-IN

Today’s Scripture: “So he departed from there and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen in front of him, and he was with the twelfth. Elijah passed by him and cast his cloak upon him. And he left the oxen and ran after Elijah and said, “Let me kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you.” And he said to him, “Go back again, for what have I done to you?” And he returned from following him and took the yoke of oxen and sacrificed them and boiled their flesh with the yokes of the oxen and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he arose and went after Elijah and assisted him,” (I Kings 19:19-21, ESV). 

Theme: When God calls you to something, leave your past behind and go all-in, giving your all to Him.
