Daily Devotions

Today’s Scripture: “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.” Deuteronomy 10:12, NIV 

Theme: God is Master of our hearts and souls. 

Today’s Scripture: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit He takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.” John 15:1-3, ESV 

Theme: The Lord sanctifies us continually throughout our lives so that we continue to bear more fruit. 

Today’s Scripture: “For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers,” Hebrews 2:11, ESV  

Theme: The Lord sanctifies us because we have chosen to make God our source and supply. 

Today’s Scripture: "... to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness." Ephesians 4:22-24, ESV  

Theme: The Lord sanctifies us so that we might be renewed and made holy.    

Today’s Scripture: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17, ESV  

Theme: The Lord sanctifies us to bring us from death to life.
