Daily Devotions

Today’s Scripture: “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” Romans 12:1, ESV 

Theme: Become a living sacrifice as an ongoing act of worship. This is only done by God’s mercies

Today’s Scripture: “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” Romans 11:29, ESV 

Theme: God doesn’t take back His gifts. Everyone has been or is now disobedient, yet God freely offers mercy without fail. 

Today's Scripture: “So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace. But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.” Romans 11:5-6, ESV   

Theme: Every believer is chosen, yet none deserves to be selected – it's through grace for all of us.   

Today's Scripture: “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’” Romans 10:14-15, ESV 

Theme: All believers are called to “go” and share the Good News until the whole world hears. 

Today's Scripture: “For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” Romans 10:10, ESV   

Theme: Belief in God and confession of faith are both necessary in order to be saved.
