Daily Devotions

Today’s Scripture: “Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, ‘What are you seeking?’ And they said to him, ‘Rabbi’ (which means Teacher), ‘where are you staying?’ He said to them, ‘Come and you will see.’” John 1:38-39b, ESV 

Theme: If you’ve been invited to come and meet the Savior, now is the time to invite others. 

Today's Scripture: "In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?." John 14:2, ESV 

Theme: Heaven is not exclusive; there is plenty of room for everyone. 

Today’s Scripture: “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” Matthew 7:24, NIV 

Theme: Building our lives on God’s Word and instruction--following-through not only with wise beliefs but wise actions--will result in a rock-solid faith and a flourishing life now and forever. 

Today's Scripture: “So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit.” Matthew 7:17, ESV  

Theme: The spiritual good or bad “fruit” we bear indicates our spiritual health or sickness. They are directly correlated.  

Today's Scripture: “Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions. Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.” Matthew 7:20-21, NLT 

Theme: Actions indicate allegiance; those following Jesus and entering His kingdom are doing the Father’s will here and now.
