Friday - THE RESTORATION

Today's Scripture: “And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.” Matthew 27:50-51a, ESV 

Theme: Jesus removed the barricade and bridged the gap between man and God so that we have direct access to God.

Thursday - HIS TRANSCENDENT WAYS

Today’s Scripture: “Behind the second curtain was a second section called the Most Holy Place, having the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden urn holding the manna, and Aaron's staff that budded, and the tablets of the covenant. Above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat.” Hebrews 9:3-5a, ESV 

Theme: God’s holiness is beyond our comprehension or ability to attain. Only God could make a way save us by His mercy.

Wednesday - GOSPEL'S TRIUMPH

Today’s Scripture: “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” Hebrews 10: 

Theme: We are worthy to draw near to God because Jesus has cleansed us from all unrighteousness.

Tuesday - BE HOLY

Today's Scripture: “but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, ‘You shall be holy, for I am holy.’” 1 Peter 1:15-16, ESV 

Theme: We should strive to partner with the Spirit to live holy lives. When we fail, we trust the saving blood of Jesus.
