Daily Devotions

Today's Scripture: “Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from a man's envy of his neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.” Ecclesiastes 4:4, ESV  

Theme: Stop comparing. Stop envying. Stop striving. Your life will be sweeter when you value contentment over competition.

“For everything there is a season,

   and a time for every matter under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 

Theme: God’s timing is perfect in all our seasons, moves, next steps, and even for our deaths – trust and endure.

“Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher,


 vanity of vanities! All is vanity.” Ecclesiastes 1:2, ESV 

Theme: A life all about yourself, your comfort, and your success is meaningless. Seek Jesus and live for others.

Theme: Even when we don’t understand, God can bring purpose and good out of pain and evil.

Theme: In the middle of the deepest pain, you can know that Jesus is eternally with and for you.
