Theme: Knowing Jesus is worth anything you might be asked to go through or sacrifice.

Today’s Scripture: “For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14, ESV

Theme: Your position, prestige, and reputation are useful and must be sacrificed to God’s plans and purposes.

Today’s Scripture: “And the people of Israel said to Samuel, ‘Do not cease to cry out to the Lord our God for us, that he may save us from the hand of the Philistines.’ So Samuel took a nursing lamb and offered it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord. And Samuel cried out to the Lord for Israel, and the Lord answered him.” 1 Samuel 7:8-9, ESV

Theme: In times of trouble or confusion, offer a sacrifice which honors God.

Today’s Scripture: “Now then, please swear to me by the Lord that, as I have dealt kindly with you, you also will deal kindly with my father's house, and give me a sure sign that you will save alive my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them, and deliver our lives from death.” Joshua 2:12-13, ESV

Theme: Rahab was rewarded in many ways for her selfless acts on behalf of God’s people.

Today’s Scripture: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship." Romans 12:1 (NIV)

Theme: Sacrificing your life, your plans, your will to God honors and pleases Him.
