Theme: Sabbath is not an antiquated idea which we no longer need; it is an enduring practice and Commandment.

Today’s Scripture: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28, ESV

Theme: God gives and wants to regularly provide us the rest we so desperately need.

Today's Scripture: “Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8b, ESV

Theme: The environment in this broken world is not innocent or neutral. The things available for viewing are often meant to devour our souls.

Theme: Because you aim to follow God, pay attention and consider the things you consume, even when they seem to be the cultural norm.

Today’s Scripture: “but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!” Matthew 6:23, ESV

Theme: Consider whether you are in a dark place and whether what you are looking at or viewing could be contributing to that darkness.
