Today's Scripture: "The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.'" Luke 18:11-12, ESV 

Theme: Stop justifying yourself and judging others harshly like the Pharisee.

Tuesday - LOVE GOD, LOVE YOUR BROTHER

Today’s Scripture: “If anyone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.” I John 4:20, ESV 

Theme: We show our love for God by our love in relationships, not our judgment and hatred. We can’t love God when we continue to hate people.

Monday - STOP COUNTING

Today's Scripture: “Then Peter came up and said to him, ‘Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?’ Jesus said to him, ‘I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.’” Matthew 18:21-22, ESV   

Theme: We often try to find the limit to grace and forgiveness; Jesus reminds us to generously forgive until we quit counting.

Theme: Jesus walked the line perfectly, saving anyone while neither condoning sin nor condemning people, He gave His life as a ransom.
