Today's Scripture: "And they went to a place called Gethsemane. And he said to his disciples, 'Sit here while I pray.'" Mark 14:32, ESV

Theme: When Jesus was facing the most difficult task of His life, He invited His friends into His sorrow and into the strength He gained from His Father.

Today’s Scripture: “And as they were eating, he took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to them, and said, ‘Take; this is my body.’ And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, and they all drank of it.” Mark 14:22-23, ESV

Theme: Jesus served, celebrated, and gave us the Lord’s Supper, to help us remember that He gave His body and blood. 

Today's Scripture: “And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them. But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David!’ they were indignant,” Matthew 21:14-15, ESV 

Theme: The legacy of Jesus is an offense to the self-righteous and a beautiful reprieve to those who recognize their need for a Savior. 

Today’s Scripture: “And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons.” Matthew 21:12, ESV 

Theme: Jesus leaves a legacy of integrity. 

Today’s Scripture: “Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!’” Matthew 21:9, ESV 

Theme: Jesus’ legacy was obedience, regardless of the crowd’s positive or negative response.
