Today's Scripture: “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!’” Galatians 5:22-23, NLT 

Theme: We know we have heard the Holy Spirit correctly when our lives produce His “fruit.” 

Today's Scripture: “The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.” Galatians 5:17, NLT 

Theme: Recognizing the Holy Spirit’s direction requires us to notice our own opposing desires.

Theme: The Holy Spirit is the source of spiritual fruit, the vine.

Today’s Scripture: “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.” (John 16:13, ESV)

Theme: The Holy Spirit is our counselor.

Today’s Scripture: “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.” Galatians 5:16-17 (ESV) 

Theme: The Holy Spirit is our helper.
