Today’s Scripture: And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. Acts 9:4-5, ESV

Theme: When faced with the undeniable truth about God we can either seek understanding, submit to the truth, and move to change the world or remain blind.

Today’s Scripture: “Then the king gave a great feast for all his officials and servants; it was Esther's feast. He also granted a remission of taxes to the provinces and gave gifts with royal generosity.” Esther 2:18, ESV

Theme: In the same way that Esther pleased God (and the king) and so was celebrated, our obedience pleases God and is cause for celebration.

Today’s Scripture: And the women sang to one another as they celebrated, “Saul has struck down his thousands, and David his ten thousands.” 1 Samuel 18:7, ESV

Theme: God celebrates and rewards our obedience and worship above decisiveness and charisma.

Today’s Scripture: “By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had given a friendly welcome to the spies.” Hebrews 11:31, ESV

Theme: Like Rahab, we can celebrate that shameful labels no longer apply to us.

Today’s Scripture: “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Genesis 50:20, NIV

Theme: Only God sees the bigger picture; we can rejoice that He does!
