Theme: Prayer should be our first response when we are overwhelmed or confused.

Today's Scripture: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” James 1:5, ESV

Theme: We have unlimited information at our fingertips, but what we really need is God’s wisdom.

Today’s Scripture: “I have seen everything that is done under the sun, and behold, all is vanity and a striving after wind.” Ecclesiastes 1:14, ESV

Theme: Endless opportunities for amusement can sidetrack us from God’s purposes for our lives.

Today’s Scripture: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33, ESV

Theme: Endless options may cause us to miss what is important. Seek God first.

Theme: More choices may cause us to be overwhelmed and stressed, rather than satisfied. Stay focused on what God has asked of you.
